Scott does some awesome work. The barrel ports lined up exactly where I indicated. Recoil is very tame now.
Great job on the barrel porting and crowing. I've Used SAS before already and have always been satisfied with their service to include communication, I dontt mind the wait time because Iknow I'm getting a quality service at a great price
All the cuts are sharp and neat. The ported barrel is fantastic. The optics cut is perfect. The refinish is even better than the original. But.... unfortunately, the top slits (2 channels on the top) are not centered perfectly and is slightly offset to the right. Not a huge deal since, unless you're REALLY looking for it, you won't notice it. For a pretty laid back guy like me, I can let it go but I can definitely see someone who is fickle complain about this to no end.
The Porting and Cerakote work done on my P365x EDC Barrel and Slide Excellent. Whenever I go to the range, I continue to get compliments, specially on the Slide Finish. Scott is “The Man”!
Turnaround time was faster than expected. The slide looked great, but once put back on the pistol it was stiff and wouldn't go fully into battery. I simply worked the slide for about 5 minutes and it lined things out pretty well. No issues when shooting. While the ports clearly did reduce muzzle flip some, I will likely experiment with slightly hotter loads as that tends to make them more efficient. May play with different weight recoil springs as well. All in all I was very satisfied with my experience with SAS Tactical.
