It’s about 4 times thicker than any other riser I’ve used. Would try and return but your return policy sucks.
For anyone considering this exact setup, I can confirm that this RMR-to-DeltaPoint Pro adapter plate does work on top of a Trijicon RM66 mount mounted to an ACOG TA02. Fitment has been solid, the optic mounts securely, and I’ve had zero issues with stability or alignment so far.
My only real critique is thickness. The plate itself is a bit on the thick side, and when paired with the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, the overall deck height ends up being a pretty thicc boi. I’m not a machinist and I don’t pretend to understand all the tolerance or strength constraints involved, but I do wish it was just a little thinner to help keep the optic deck height down.
That’s ultimately why this gets a 4 out of 5 stars from me. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well, I just wish it was a bit thinner and sat a bit lower.
Perfect
Short review: works for what it’s supposed to do. Feels solid. I’m not very knowledgeable about plates, but it feels like it’s little thick, wish it was little slimmer (could be that it has to be this way and I would never know again lack of knowledge).
Long review: I have a Glock 45 which I cut the slide to fit a Holosun 507c x2 (rmr). Then I got the vortex defender xl which I like more than the Holosun and I got it for 199 on sale. I did not want to get a new slide or a new pistol yet so I needed a plate. There aren’t many options out there (maybe one other). Decided to go with it and it fits perfectly. Mounted my new red dot and it all works just fine. With the plate and optic it sits quite high and I’ll have to make sure to train up the sight over bore difference. I cannot use my suppressor height sights to co-witness anymore as it does sit high. I haven’t used irons in two years so whatever. Still fits into my Blackhawk T series holster without any modifications. Thanks for this product.
Screws could be higher quality for the price.
