This adapter fits factory optic-ready Apollo 11 slides cut for the Shield RMSc footprint. Max cutout depth of ~0.170" deep. Allows attachment of RMR footprint optics.

Works good & fits perfect. Get extra screws.

Love how solid this adapter is for the Apollo 11, and allows the Holosun 507 Comp to be used.
I tried two other brands before finding SAS Tactical. Those other plates broke....each one less than a thousand rounds.
The SAS Tactical adapter I got has 3k rounds. I put this on a few months back and have been to several local matches of 3-gun and USPSA limites optics. At a steel challenge match the Holosun did loosen on me.....but not the adapter olate.
After the match, back at home took everything off, cleaned it all up, got two new screws and remounted the Holosun. The adapter plate was still solid. Next day shot about 500 rounds with friends & family cookout. Seems good too go.
I'm not sure if full size optics are too large for DS-1911 slides. Maybe the tiny screws just couldn't endure the slide cycling so much. I'm not sure, but since this is used for fun & competitions, I'm considering two tiny screws to be consumables. They will get replaced before big important matches.
Overall very happy with the quality of the adapter plate.

Unusable

There are no pockets for the recoil lugs on the bottom of the plate. Contacted SAS Tactical via email and it has been a week now with no response. It only took 1 week to arrive so quicker than the stated possibility. The plate is also a 2 piece design that is secured with screws. Hopefully that holds and there is some kind of secondary bonding. I have not been able to test the fitment so will not comment on it. I will update if I am ever able to use it
